Jamkhambhaliya
Jamkhambhaliya, also known as Khambhalia, is a town and a municipality in Devbhoomi Dwarka district of Gujarat, India. It is the headquarters and the largest town of the district. Jamkhambhalia is renowned across the world for its pure quality of Ghee. History The ancient town of Khambhalia ruled by the Vaghela clan. The Jam Shahib of Nawanagar conquered it from them. It had served as the capital of Nawanagar State when Nawanagar was under Mughal rule. The old town is fortified and has bastions at the intervals. It is built about 350 years ago. There are five gates; Nagar gate, Por gate, Jodhpur gate, Salaya gate and Dwarka gate. The old temples in the town include Ramnath, Kamnath, Ashapuri Mata, Kalyanraiji and Jadeshwar Mahadev temples. Pushtimarg Baithak
Baithak or Bethak, , is a site considered sacred by the followers of the Pushtimarg tradition of Vaishnava Hinduism in India for performing devotional rituals. These sites are associated with Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhu, the founder of Pushtimarg and his descendants. They mark public events in their lives. Some of them are restricted or foreboding. These sites are spread across India and are chiefly concentrated in Braj region in Uttar Pradesh and in western state of Gujarat. Total 142 Baithaks are considered sacred; 84 of Vallabhacharya, 28 of his son Viththalanath Gusainji and 30 of his seven grandsons.
