Park Ji-min (; born July 5, 1997), professionally known as Jamie or Jamie Park, and formerly Jimin Park, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and television host. She is best known as the winner of the first season of ''K-pop Star'' and as a former member of the vocal duo 15& and the project group M.O.L.A. She was formerly a co-host of the variety show ''After School Club'' from 2014 to 2022. Early life and education Park Ji-min was born on July 5, 1997, in Daejeon. She lived in Thailand for eight years and went to Garden International School Bangkok where she was given the English name Jamie. Her family currently lives in Seoul. Jamie speaks Korean (her native language), fluent English, and basic Thai. ''Allkpop'' (stylized in all lowercase) is an American website which features Korean pop and gossip news. It is one of the most trafficked K-pop news sites, with over seven and half million readers per month. In its list of useful websites, ''The Korea Herald'' called it the "fastest news breaker" for K-pop. Controversies In 2010, Tablo of Korean hip-hop trio Epik High alleged that allkpop had been sharing pirated links to the group's '' Epilogue'' album, including "a leaked music video of 'Run' and illegal streaming of all our songs" on his personal Twitter account. Tablo has since removed the posts. In 2013, scandal broke out again when solo K-pop artist Ailee's private, nude pictures were leaked with the allkpop logo posted across blurred photos in their coverage. Uniq (; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean–Chinese boy band formed by Chinese company Yuehua Entertainment in 2014. The group consists of five members: Zhou Yixuan, Kim Sung-joo, Li Wenhan, Cho Seung-youn, and Wang Yibo. Uniq officially debuted on October 20, 2014, with their debut single "Falling In Love" in both China and South Korea. Sweetune () is a South Korean record producing team, originally consisting of Han Jae-ho and Kim Seung-soo, and now including nine other members. The fourth season of the South Korean reality television competition show ''K-pop Star'' premiered on SBS on November 23, 2014, airing Sunday evenings at 4:50 pm KST as part of the '' Good Sunday'' lineup. Yang Hyun-suk, Park Jin-young, and You Hee-yeol returned as judges. The contest began receiving applications in June, with preliminary auditions taking place in Seoul and throughout South Korea, as well as the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong until September 2014. The season ended on April 12, 2015, with Katie Kim crowned as winner and choosing to sign with YG Entertainment.
