James Whittaker (Shaker)
James Whittaker (February 28, 1751 – July 20, 1787) was the second leader of the Shakers. Whittaker was born in Oldham, England and became a weaver and a member of the artisan and merchant class. He came to colonial America with Mother Ann Lee,James Matthew Morris; Andrea L. Kross. Historical Dictionary of Utopianism'. The company controls its entire manufacturing process in its facility in Porirua, identifying itself as a "bean-to-bar" manufacturer. James Henry Whittaker (1868–1947) started the business in Christchurch in 1896 and it was later moved to Wellington. History James Henry Whittaker (1868–1947) worked in the British confectionery industry from the age of 14 and moved to New Zealand with his wife Leah Alice in 1890. He was a salesman for Cadbury's chocolate before and after his move to New Zealand. In 1896 he started manufacturing chocolate confectionery, selling it directly to customers using a horse and van.

Jim Whittaker
James W. Whittaker (born February 10, 1929), also known as Jim Whittaker, is an American climber and mountain guide. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington. On May 1, 1963, he became the first American to reach the summit of Mount Everest as a member of the American Mount Everest Expedition led by Norman Dyhrenfurth, alongside the Sherpa Nawang Gombu, a nephew of Tenzing Norgay. They ran out of oxygen, but managed to reach the summit. Biography He is the twin brother of Lou Whittaker, a mountain guide who is often mistakenly credited with achieving the 1963 ascent of Everest. The twins started climbing in their teens in the 1940s while in the Boy Scouts. Whittaker graduated from West Seattle High School and Seattle University. James Brown Whittaker (born Peter Williams; 20 August 1937 – 14 March 2018), known professionally as Jim Bowen, was an English stand-up comedian, actor and television personality. He was the long-time host of the ITV game show '' Bullseye'', which he presented from its beginning in 1981 through to the end of its original run in 1995. In early adulthood, Bowen was a teacher and took part in local dramatic groups. He first appeared on television in '' The Comedians'' (1971) and he eventually devoted himself to comedy full-time, appearing in other television shows in the 1970s. James William Whittaker (1828, Manchester - 6 September 1876, Betws-y-Coed) was a British watercolour painter, best known for his landscapes of North Wales. Life He was born in a family of a warehouseman and began his artistic career as an apprentice to Manchester engraver Joseph Heyes, soon turning to painting. In 1858 he moved to Llanrwst, where he would paint local landscapes in watercolours. With the possible exception of a trip to Switzerland and Italy in about 1864 and a Northern journey in the late 1860s, he remained in North Wales for the rest of his life. Upon meeting Francis William Topham in Wales, Whittaker was encouraged to join the Society of Painters in Watercolours, becoming an associate in 1862, and a member in 1864.
