James Vincent (footballer)
James Michael Vincent (born 27 September 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for side Stockport Town. He previously played for Stockport County, Kidderminster Harriers, Inverness Caledonian Thistle (two spells), Dundee, Hereford, F.C. United of Manchester, and had two loan spells with Dunfermline Athletic. Vincent has over 375 professional appearances to date. Career Stockport County Born in Glossop, Vincent joined Stockport County 'Centre of Excellence' aged just eight and progressed through the ranks to earn a two-year Youth Team scholarship. Vincent played for the Youth Team, winning the Puma Youth Alliance trophy before making his first-team debut, in his second year Youth Team contract, as a substitute in a 1–0 win over Brentford on the last day of the 2007–08 season. Glossop is a market town in the Borough of High Peak, Derbyshire, England. It is located east of Manchester, north-west of Sheffield and north of the county town, Matlock. Glossop lies near Derbyshire's borders with Cheshire, Greater Manchester, South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. The Scottish Championship, known as the cinch Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish Championship was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Danny Williams (born 25 January 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a left winger. Williams spent his early career in the English non-league, playing for Daisy Hill, FC United of Manchester, Clitheroe, Kendal Town and Chester. He turned professional in 2013 with Scottish club Inverness Caledonian Thistle, and also spent time at Dundee, before returning to England in 2018 with Accrington Stanley. He later spent time back in the English non-league with AFC Fylde and FC Halifax Town. The 2015 Scottish Cup Final was the 130th final of the Scottish Cup, the most prestigious knockout association football, football competition in Scotland. The population of the Alfreton parish was 7,971 at the 2011 Census.
