James Schofield (cricketer, Born 1978)
James Edward Knowle Schofield (born 1 November 1978) is an English former cricketer. Schofield was born at Blackpool in November 1978. Schofield began his career in county cricket with the Worcestershire Cricket Board, representing the Board in the MCCA Knockout Trophy between 1998 and 2000. Having trialled for several county second elevens, Schofield was signed by Hampshire in 2001 after taking 40 wickets for the Hampshire Second XI in six matches. He made his debut for Hampshire in a first-class match against the touring Australians at the Rose Bowl, taking the wicket of Matthew Hayden with his first ball. He would make three further first-class appearances for Hampshire, playing twice in the 2001 County Championship against Durham and Worcestershire, and once in the 2002 County Championship against Surrey. James Schofield (cricketer, Born 1854)
James Schofield (1854 – date of death unknown) was an English cricketer. Schofield's batting style is unknown, but it is known he played as a wicket-keeper. He was born at Rochdale, Lancashire. Schofield made his first-class debut for Lancashire against Derbyshire at Old Trafford in 1876. He made three further first-class appearances for Lancashire in 1876, against Kent, Derbyshire and Sussex. In his four first-class appearances, he scored 27 runs at an average of 6.75, with a high score of 11. Behind the stumps he took seven catches and made a single stumping. James Hargrave Schofield
James Hargrave Alcock Schofield (February 19, 1866 – December 9, 1938) was a lumberman and political figure in British Columbia. He represented Ymir from 1907 to 1916, Trail from 1916 to 1924 and Rossland-Trail from 1924 to 1933 in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia as a Conservative. He did not seek an eighth term in the Legislature in the 1933 provincial election. He was born in Brockville, Canada West, the son of Frederick Schofield and Letitia L. Hargrave, and the grandson of Letitia MacTavish Hargrave. He was educated in Port Hope.
