James Ogilvie of Cardell (died 1574) was a Scottish courtier, a master of household to Mary, Queen of Scots, his inheritance of Findlater Castle was disputed by John Gordon. Family and lands He was a son of Alexander Ogilvie (died 1554) of Findlater Castle and Janet Abernethy. Alexander Ogilvie served in the household of Mary of Guise in the 1540s.
