James Stuart MacDonald
James Stuart MacDonald (28 March 187812 November 1952) was an Australian artist, art critic and Director of the National Art Gallery of New South Wales from 1929 to 1937. Early life MacDonald was born on 28 March 1878 in Carlton, Melbourne, the son of solicitor Hector MacDonald and his American wife Anna Louisa, née Flett. He attended Kew High School and Hawthorn Grammar School, but proved unsuccessful in his studies. Kilby MacDonald
James Allan Kilby Macdonald (September 6, 1913 – May 11, 1986) was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who played four seasons in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers. Playing career MacDonald started his hockey career with the Ottawa Jr. Montagnards of the OCJHL IN 1930-31. In 1934-35, he moved to the GBHL and played with the Kirkland Lake Blue Devils. The next season, MacDonald played with the Noranda Copper Kings and he helped the team make it to the Allan Cup. MacDonald spent the next three years with the New York Rovers in the Eastern Amateur Hockey League and the Philadelphia Ramblers of the International-American Hockey League. He was chosen to the EAHL First All-Star Team in 1936-37 and in 1938-39 MacDonald was selected to the IAHL First All-Star Team. Regis Deon Thomas (born June 16, 1970) is an American convicted murderer and Bloods gang member who was sentenced to death for the 1993 murders of Kevin Michael Burrell and James Wayne MacDonald, two officers in the Compton Police Department who were shot dead during a traffic stop in the City of Compton. They were the only Compton police officers killed in the line of duty in the department's 65-year history. Thomas was also convicted of murdering another man in 1992 in Torrance, California.
