James Dearth
James Dearth (born January 22, 1976) is a former American football long snapper. Dearth, who attended Tarleton State University, was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 1999 NFL draft. He has also been a member of the New York Jets, Washington Redskins, San Diego Chargers and New England Patriots. Early life Dearth attended Scurry-Rosser High School in Scurry, Texas and was a student and a letterman in football. In football, he was a starter at both, quarterback and middle linebacker, and was an All-State honoree at both positions. Scurry, Texas
Scurry is a town in Kaufman County, Texas, United States. It was Municipal incorporation, incorporated in 2003. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census, it had a population of 688. Scurry is named after Scurry Dean. The arrival of the Texas and Pacific Railway in the 1870s established the settlement as a shipment point for area farmers. Derrick Blaylock (born August 23, 1979) is an American former professional football running back of the National Football League (NFL). Blaylock was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the 2001 NFL draft. Blaylock also played for the New York Jets. Nick Sundberg (born July 29, 1987) is a former American football long snapper. He played college football at California before signing with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent in 2009.
