Jamal Hussein Ali
Jamal Hussein Ali () is an Iraqi novelist and journalist born in Al Basrah, Iraq. He earned his doctorate (PhD) in Physics and Mathematics from Moscow State University (1993). He has published four novels, the most recent of which was Baghdad's Dead (Novel), ''Baghdad's Dead'', as well as three collections of short stories and books about press release, literature and politics, both original works and translations. He has worked for several international and Arab newspapers. He has also won awards for stories, theater and journalism. A war correspondent is a journalist who covers stories first-hand from a war, war zone. War correspondence stands as one of journalism's most important and impactful forms. War correspondents operate in the most conflict-ridden parts of the world. Once there, they attempt to get close enough to the action to provide written accounts, photos, or film footage. Dar Al Khaleej Printing & Publishing () is a publishing house based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The company was established in 1970 with the launch of the daily '' Al Khaleej'' newspaper. The company, whose name literally means ''Gulf House'', was founded by brothers Taryam Omran Taryam (1942–2002) and Abdullah Omran Taryam (1948–2014). A sonnet is a fixed poetic form with a structure traditionally consisting of fourteen lines adhering to a set Rhyme scheme, rhyming scheme. The term derives from the Italian word ''sonetto'' (, from the Latin word ''sonus'', ).
