''Jal Pari'' () is the debut studio album by Pakistani singer-songwriter Atif Aslam. It was released on 17 July 2004 through Sound Master records. It was released sometime after he left the Pakistani rock group Jal. Two of his songs from the album were used by Bollywood film directors. Three songs were also selected for the Hollywood film '' Man Push Cart'' (2005). Accolades ''Jal Pari'' was declared the "Best Selling Album of the Year" for two consecutive years for 2004 and 2005 by the Pakistani newspaper ''The News International''. The song "Bheegi Yaadein" was named the Most Downloaded Pakistani Song Ever from various Pakistani music websites by ''DAWN'' newspaper. Copyright issues Since Jal's album ''Aadat'' and ''Jal Pari'' shared certain tracks such as "Aadat", "Bheegi Yaadein" and "Ankhon Se", a war over rights began which resulted in both sides claiming to possess hard proof to support their respective claims that they alone owned these songs. ''Jal Pari'' () is a 2011 Pakistani television drama series aired on the Geo Entertainment, directed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat and written by Sarmad Sehbai. The serial was first aired on 13 October 2011 and last aired on 2 February 2012 and features Neelam Muneer, Adnan Siddiqui, Noman Ijaz and Mikaal Zulfiqar. Retitled as ''Deewana Kise Banayegi Yeh Ladki'', it also broadcast in India on Zindagi. Nalini Jaywant
Nalini Jaywant (18 February 1926 – 22 December 2010) was an Indian actress who appeared in Hindi films in the 1940s and 1950s. Filmfare in their poll in the 1950s declared her the most beautiful woman in the movies. Actor Dilip Kumar described her "the greatest actress he ever worked with". Background and personal life Jaywant was born in Bombay (now Mumbai) in 1926. At the age of six years, she performed songs on All India Radio Mumbai station's Bal Sabha programme. By the age of ten, she was acting in school plays. Her popularity soared when she played the lead role in Rabindranath Tagore’s play ''Shrimatiji''. Nalini's maternal aunt was Marathi singer and actress, Rattan Bai. In Dec. 1931, when Jaywant was 5, Rattan Bai's husband, Prabhakar Shilotri, died, prompting Rattan Bai and her 15 year-old daughter, Sarojini, to move in with the Jaywants. ''Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid'' is a 2012 Indian film directed by Nila Madhab Panda. Like ''I Am Kalam'' it is also a children's film where Lehar Khan, Krishang Trivedi and Harsh Mayar (who won the National Film Awards for the best child artist in 2010) are on lead as child artists and Parvin Dabas, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Rahul Singh, Suhasini Mulay and V.M. Badola are in supporting roles. The movie centres on the issue of female foeticide and is an adventure film. It was screened at Marche du Cannes film festival.
