Jakub Szumski (born 6 March 1992 in Warsaw) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Samsunspor. Besides Poland, he has played in Turkey. Career On 30 July 2012, he was loaned to Piast Gliwice until the end of the season. In July 2013 he signed a three-year deal with Piast. The House of Piast was the first historical ruling dynasty of Poland. The first documented Polish monarch was Duke Mieszko I (c. 930–992). Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams.
