Jakub Kowalski
Jakub Kowalski (born 9 October 1987) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a right winger. He is currently the sporting director of II liga club Stal Stalowa Wola. Club career A graduate of Żyrardowianka Żyrardów. He began his senior career at Unia Skierniewice, subsequently playing for Concordia Piotrków Trybunalski, UKS SMS Łódź, Wigry Suwałki, OKS 1945 Olsztyn, Arka Gdynia, Widzew Łódź, Okocimski KS Brzesko, Ruch Chorzów, Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała, GKS Tychy, and Górnik Łęczna. On 28 September 2012, while playing for Widzew, he made his Ekstraklasa debut in a 1-3 away defeat to Polonia Warsaw; Kowalski appeared from the 37th minute. On 9 July 2019, he joined Garbarnia Kraków. His contract with the club expired at the end of June 2021. On 7 July 2021, he signed a one-year contract with Podhale Nowy Targ. Żyrardów
Żyrardów is a town and former industrial hub in central Poland with approximately 41,400 inhabitants (2006). It is the capital of Żyrardów County in the Masovian Voivodeship, west of Warsaw. The 2023–24 II liga (also known as eWinner II liga due to sponsorship reasons) was the 76th season of the third tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1948 and the 16th season of the Polish II liga under its current title. I liga (, ), currently named Betclic I liga due to its sponsorship by Betclic, is the men's second professional association football division of the Polish football league system, below the Ekstraklasa and above the II liga via promotion/relegation systems. 2023–24 Polish Cup
The 2023–24 Polish Cup ( ) was the 70th season of the annual Polish football knockout tournament. The competition began on 2 August 2023 with the preliminary round the first of seven rounds and ended on 2 May 2024 with the final match at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. The Polish Cup is considered the second-most important club title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa championship. The competition is organised by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). 2023–24 Stal Stalowa Wola Season
After the return of Stal Stalowa Wola in 2023, the 2023–24 season was the club's first season in the II liga. Season's progress The summer preparation period Stal started preparations for the new season on June 29. 32 players took part in the training. III liga, group IV is one of the four groups of III liga, which are competitions of the fourth tier of the Polish football league system. This group was established in 2016, when, after the 2015–16 season, as a result of the reorganization of the III liga in Poland, group VII was merged with group VIII. The 2012–13 Ekstraklasa (also known as T-Mobile Ekstraklasa due to its Sponsor (commercial), sponsorship by T-Mobile Polska) was the 79th season of the highest level of football leagues in Poland since its establishment in 1927 Ekstraklasa, 1927. Górniczy Klub Sportowy Górnik Łęczna (), commonly referred to as Górnik Łęczna, is a sports club based in Łęczna, Poland.
