Jakub Kadák
Jakub Kadák (born 14 December 2000) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Swiss Super League club Luzern and the Slovakia national team. Early life Kadák developed an interest in football when he was four years old. He went to watch it with his older brother, who was playing for Stankovec. The club's coach recommended Kadák to try football, to which he accepted. Club career Kadák made his Fortuna Liga debut for AS Trenčín against Spartak Trnava on 10 March 2018. Trenčín lost the game to the later champions 1–2. Kadák replaced Lukáš Skovajsa in the 80th minute. On 18 July 2022, Kadák joined Swiss Super League club Luzern, signing a four-year contract. After a 0–2 loss against FC Sion in August 2023, he suffered a serious knee injury and was sidelined for the rest of the season. 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship Qualification
The 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition was a men's under-21 football competition to determine the 14 teams that would be joining the automatically qualified co-hosts Romania and Georgia in the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship final tournament. Apart from Romania and Georgia, all remaining 53 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition. Players born on or after 1 January 2000 were eligible to participate. Marek Mintál
Marek Mintál (; born 2 September 1977) is a Slovak professional football coach and a former player who played as a attacking midfielder or forward. Playing career Mintál started to play football in Slovak club MŠK Žilina, with whom he won back-to-back Slovak championships in 2001–02 and 2002–03. This was also due to his scoring 20 (2001–02) and 21 (2002–03) goals respectively. With this number of goals he also became the Slovak top scorer in both seasons. Therefore, he was capped for the Slovak national team for the first time on 6 February 2002. He has won 33 caps and scored 11 goals for the Slovak national team. Ondrej Duda (; born 5 December 1994) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Hellas Verona and the Slovakia national team. Club career Duda began his football career at his hometown club MFK Snina. He later moved to Košice, where he rose through the youth team ranks, making his first-team debut for the club at the age of 17 as a late substitute during a 1–0 home win against Slovan Bratislava. Marek Hamšík (; born 27 July 1987) is a Slovak football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. He is currently the team manager and assistant coach for the Slovakia national team. After beginning his club career with Slovan Bratislava in 2004, Hamšík moved to Italian club Brescia later that year. The UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament was a football competition that was played from March 2023 to March 2024 to determine the 23 UEFA member men's national teams that would join the automatically qualified host team Germany in the UEFA Euro 2024 final tournament.
