Jakob Modalsli
Jakob Modalsli (1 April 1911 – 31 January 1984) was a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Strømm, and graduated from the Norwegian College of Agriculture in 1936. In 1947, he was hired as secretary general of the Norwegian Agrarian Association; in 1949 he became director of the ''Direktoratet for eksport- og importregulering''. From 1952 to 1960 and 1962 to 1966 he was the permanent under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Defence. From 1966 to 1981 he was the County Governor of Østfold. Norwegians
Norwegians ( no, nordmenn) are a North Germanic ethnic group and nation native to Norway, where they form the vast majority of the population. They share a common culture and speak the Norwegian language. Norwegians are descended from the Norse of the Early Middle Ages who formed a unified Kingdom of Norway in the 9th century. Erik Himle
Erik Himle (10 April 1924 – 30 July 2008) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. Himle graduated with the cand.oecon. degree in 1948, and from the NATO Defence College in 1957. He was never elected as a politician, but worked himself upwards as a civil servant in Norwegian government ministries. During the third cabinet Gerhardsen he became state secretary to the Minister of Defense 1958–1961 and to the Minister of Transport 1962–1963. In the fourth cabinet Gerhardsen he was appointed Minister of Trade and Shipping 1963–1964 and Minister of Transport 1964–1965. His last period as a state secretary was in the Office of the Prime Minister during the first cabinet Bratteli from 1971 to 1972. Lars Korvald
(29 April 1916 – 4 July 2006) was a Norwegian educator and school headmaster. He became associated with the Christian Democratic Party and was elected to the Norwegian Parliament. He served as the 27th prime minister of Norway from 1972 to 1973, leading the cabinet that took over when Trygve Bratteli resigned in the wake of the first referendum over Norway's membership in the European Economic Community. Karl Hess Larsen (1900–1966) was a Norwegian lawyer and politician. He served as the County Governor of Nordland county from 1940 until 1951, although he was deposed by the Nasjonal Samling government from 1941 to 1945 during the German occupation of Norway.
