Jakob Larsen (handballer)
Jakob Rosbach Larsen (born 4 July 1974) is a Greenlandic/Danish retired handball player and current manager of the Danish club Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub, where he has coached since 2017. He has previously been the manager of GOG Gudme. Larsen became Danish champion, as player, with GOG in 2007. He has a Master of Science degree in sport sciences from the University of Southern Denmark. Career Larsen played for four years for the Danish club, Nyborg GIF Håndbold, moving to the Danish Handball League at GOG. He played to season with GOG before moving to Otterup HK in the 2000–201 season. The Spanish side Zaragoza noticed Jakob Larsen during the 2001 World Championship in a match against Spain and Larsen was sold to Zaragoza in February 2001. Maniitsoq
Maniitsoq () or Sukkertoppen is a town on Maniitsoq Island, western Greenland located in the Qeqqata municipality. With 2,534 inhabitants , it is the sixth-largest town in Greenland. History Archaeological finds indicate that the area has been settled for more than 4,000 years. The modern town was founded as New or Nye-Maniitsoq in 1782 by Danish colonists relocating from the original Sukkertoppen, a trading post founded in 1755 at the site of present-day Kangaamiut. In time, the original name was taken up again. In the 19th century, the town served as a major trading post for the Royal Greenland Trading Department's trade in reindeer hides. Maniitsoq Municipality was a former municipality of Greenland. It is now part of Qeqqata Municipality. Kamilla Birkedal Larsen (née Kristensen; born 2 September 1983) is a Danish former team handball player. She has played for Handball Club Odense and for the Danish women's national handball team. She retired when her contract with HC Odense expired, although she has said, that she wanted to continue. She attended Kalundborg Gymnasium. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise.
