Jake Childs
Jake Childs is an American record producer. He was born in Austin, Texas, and started playing music early in life, following in the footsteps of his father who played trumpet professionally with the Navy Jazz Band. Childs learned to play trumpet, guitar, bass and keyboard. Childs’ musical career as a house music producer and DJ started in Houston where he became a fan of a house radio show and began attending weekly house music events. Childs founded the record label Uni.form Recordings in 2002, which allowed him to collaborate with like-minded musicians, producers and DJs. Childs' has performed his self-produced music on multiple international tours. He has played in the United States, Iceland, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Germany, Russia, Siberia, Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico and South Africa. MNYNMS (pronounced "''Many Names''") is a live electronic music trio from Houston, Texas made up of members Jake Childs (Production and live drums), Jessica Wahlquist (Production, vocals and Keys) and Lacey Youngblood (Live Keyboard). Music Their first EP, ''Projection Series'' was released on the label Detroit Underground to iTunes in 2015 and received positive reviews. Their second EP ''Rite of Passage'' was released to iTunes in 2016. They have worked on projects with other electronic music acts such as Teeel, The New Division, FM Attack, Faded Away as well as various unofficial remixes. Eleven (band)
Eleven was an American alternative rock group from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1990 by Alain Johannes (vocals, guitar, sitar, horns), Natasha Shneider (vocals, keyboards, bass), and Jack Irons (drums). History Eleven's early history is intertwined with that of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. As teenagers Irons and Johannes formed the band Anthym with Flea and Hillel Slovak; this band was soon to be renamed What Is This?. The members of What Is This? then joined with Anthony Kiedis to form the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but Slovak and Irons also continued to record with Johannes, and What Is This? released the EP '' Squeezed'' with Chris Hutchinson playing bass.
