Table tennis, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball, also known as the ping-pong ball, back and forth across a table using small solid rackets. It takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Para table tennis is a parasports which follows the rules set by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). The usual table tennis rules are in effect with slight modifications for wheelchair athletes. Athletes from disability groups can take part. Athletes receive classifications between 1-11. Classes 1-5 are for those in wheelchairs and classes 6-10 for those who have disabilities that allow them to play standing. Trevor Hirth (born 29 February 1984) is an Australian Paralympic table tennis player. He represented Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. Personal Hirth was born on 29 February 1984. He has lived with a neuro-muscular disability since birth. His right leg is two centimeters shorter than his left, and his disability affects his power and strength and weakens his grip on the bat.
