Škofja Loka
Škofja Loka (; ) is a town in Slovenia. It is the economic, cultural, educational, and administrative center of the Municipality of Škofja Loka in Upper Carniola. It has about 12,000 inhabitants. Geography Škofja Loka lies at an elevation of at the confluence of the Poljane Sora and the Selca Sora rivers, at the transition of the Sora Plain into the Škofja Loka Hills and the Polhov Gradec Hills. The Slovenian National Road Race Championships have been held since Slovenia, independence in 1991. Blaž Jarc (U23 cat.) set absolute best time in 2009 Championships and beat all top riders (Elite cat.), and the same thing with U23 also happened at Slovenian National Time Trial Championships, National Time Trials (2006, 2007, 2009). After that, Slovenian Cycling Federation (KZS) decided to change rules and make it more understable to public.
