Jak Housden
John Paul "Jak" Housden (born 12 June 1969) is an Australian guitarist, singer, and composer. Best known as a long-standing member of or The Whitlams, he is also a founding member of The Badloves, appearing on all their classic 1990s releases. A revered session guitarist, Jak has performed and recorded with Barry Gibb, Olivia Newton-John, Richard Clapton, Steve Kilbey, Kate Ceberano, Jimmy Barnes, Daryl Braithwaite, and Steve Balbi. Since 2015, Jak has been involved with Tim Minchin, touring extensively and recording on the album ''Apart Together''. Early life and career Jak Housden has played guitar since he was 11 years old. George Allen & Unwin was a British publishing company formed in 1911 when Sir Stanley Unwin purchased a controlling interest in George Allen & Co. Clayton Doley
Clayton Doley is an Australian musician, singer, songwriter, television musical director, arranger, and record producer best known for his Hammond Organ virtuosity. He started his own bands The Hands and Clayton Doley's Organ Donors. Career Bands At 16 he joined Adelaide blues band Double Whammy and at 18 he joined Sydney band The Mighty Reapers. In 2002 Clayton and his brother Lachlan Doley formed soul band The Hands, driven by the duelling keyboards of Clayton on Hammond Organ and Lachlan on Hohner D6 Clavinet. The Hands have recorded two albums of original songs, "Live and Breathe" in 2004 and "Everything Is Wonderful" in 2008. Terepai Chalmers Richmond (born 21 February 1971) is an Australian drummer. He joined the Sydney-based rock band The Whitlams in September 1999 and formerly played in acid jazz group Directions in Groove (d.i.g.) (1991–1998, 2008). Biography Terepai Chalmers Richmond was born on 21 February 1971 to a Scottish father and a Cook Island mother who ran a restaurant in Sydney. He started drumming in his parents' Polynesian show band at the age of six, with his sister Jennifer dancing, where he performed several shows every week until finishing school at eighteen. Warwick Hornby
Warwick Hornby is an Australian musician, best known for his time as bassist for The Whitlams. Note: n-lineversion was expanded from the 2002 edition. He joined the band together with drummer Terepai Richmond in 1998, and remained with them until 2022. Warwick was born near Manchester, England, and emigrated to South Australia with his family in 1966. Encouraged by his parents to take up guitar at age 11, he studied music for 2 years and formed his first band, 'Virginia Wolfe' with friends from the same area. They played high school shows, local clubs and entered Hoadley's Battle of the Sounds, where they were the youngest entrants. Timothy James Freedman (25 November 1964) is an Australian musician, best known as the mainstay lead singer and keyboardist of the Australian band The Whitlams formed in 1993.
