Jaipur Development Authority
Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is the agency of the Government of Rajasthan responsible for preparation and implementation of master plan for the Jaipur city in Rajasthan state in India. It is engaged in infrastructural and basic amenity development for Jaipur and also environment conservation and development of rural areas around the city. JDA has its head-office at JLN Marg, opposite the famous Birla Temple, Jaipur. Projects The Dravyavati River rejuvenation project was approved in 2015, awarded to a consortium of Tata Group and the Shanghai Urban Construction Group with an initial cost of over 16 million Rupees to complete the work by October 2018. The estimated ten-year project cost, covering construction, operation and maintenance, was over 19 million Rupees. Dravyavati River
Dravyavati River is major South-flowing river in Rajasthan. It originates in on the western slope of Amber hills and flows through the Jaipur city, north to south over a length of 57.5 km, making it one of the smallest river in India, providing a major source of water to the city. It finally joins the Dhund river, near Santoshpura. Most of the Jaipur city's population stays within the 10 km periphery of Dravyavati river. Deterioration In 2016 the river was described as having deteriorated into a nullah, over the preceding century. The river had been comprehensively damaged by local pollution, garbage and debris. Jaipur Ring Road
The Ring Road is a 150 kilometre, 6-lane ring road encircling the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It is built by Jaipur Development Authority (JDA). The expressway is designed for speeds up to 120 km/h. Construction of the Ring Road around Jaipur was conceived by PWD in December 2000 on BOT basis. Nindar (or Nindhar,) is a village in Jaipur District, in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
