Jaheim Dorman
Jaheim H. Hoagland (born May 26, 1978), known mononymously as Jaheim, is an American R&B singer. He was signed by Naughty by Nature's Kaygee to Divine Mill Records in 2000 and released his debut album '' Ghetto Love'' in 2001. His second effort, '' Still Ghetto'' (2002), contains the hit singles "Put That Woman First" (2003) and "Fabulous" (2003), both of which achieved platinum success. Jaheim's third album, '' Ghetto Classics'', was released on February 14, 2006, debuting at number one on the U.S. ''Billboard'' 200, and selling over 153,000 copies in its first week. Music career Four years after he recorded a tape that led to a deal with Divine Mill Records (a division of Warner Bros. Records). Hoagland received good reactions from two singles "Could It Be" and "Lil' Nigga Ain't Mine" on BET video shows. The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards were held on February 13, 2011, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. They were broadcast on CBS with a rating of 26.6 million viewers. Barbra Streisand was honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year two nights prior to the telecast on February 11. Nominations were announced on December 1, 2010 and a total of 108 awards were presented. The American Music Awards (AMAs) is an annual American music awards show produced by Dick Clark Productions since 1974. Nominees are selected on commercial performance such as sales and airplay. Critical response ''Appreciation Day'' was met with a generally positive reviews from music critics. Andy Kellman of AllMusic gave the album three and a half stars out of five, saying "When Jaheim announced his first album in three years, which followed five straight Top Five R&B albums, he said, "I decided to call the project ''Appreciation Day'' because that’s exactly what this album is…my show of appreciation to them." Hoagy Lands
Victor I. Hoagland Sr. (May 4, 1936 – January 12, 2002), known professionally as Hoagy Lands, was an American soul singer. Biography Lands was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States. His father was Afro-Cuban and his mother was an African American of American Indian descent, Lands formed a group at Roosevelt Junior High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey that was called TNB (The New Brunswick) Dynaflows. His recording career spanned from the late 1950s on into the mid-1970s. He was a backup singer for The Drifters when they recorded their major hit, but was not credited. He recorded a few duets with Lily Field. He made appearances in England shortly before his death in 2002, in Orange, New Jersey, following a heart surgery. His grandson is recording artist Jaheim. The ''Central New Jersey Home News Tribune'' is a daily newspaper serving Middlesex County, New Jersey. The paper has an average daily weekday circulation of about 49,000. The newspaper is the result of the 1995 merger of ''The Home News'' of East Brunswick (founded 1879) and ''The News Tribune'' of Woodbridge Township. ''The News Tribune'' was previously known as ''The Perth Amboy Evening News''. The combined paper, initially renamed the ''Home News & Tribune'' before the ampersand was removed, was sold to Gannett in 1997. In 2009, some production operations were moved and consolidated with those of Central Jersey Gannett newspapers. Those operations are now located in Neptune. The newsroom and advertising departments remained in East Brunswick at the time but have since been relocated to Somerville, where its sister paper, the '' Courier News'' of Somerville, is headquartered.
