Jaguars–Titans Rivalry
The Jaguars–Titans rivalry is a National Football League (NFL) List of NFL rivalries, rivalry between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans. The first game of the rivalry was played on September 3, 1995, at EverBank Stadium (then Jacksonville Municipal Stadium) in Jacksonville, Florida. In the first regular season game for Jacksonville's new expansion franchise, the Titans, then known as the Houston Oilers, defeated the Jaguars 10–3. The rivalry intensified during the 1999–2000 NFL playoffs, 1999–2000 postseason, when the 14–2 Jaguars (both losses were against Tennessee), champions of the AFC Central division, hosted the newly named Titans, who were 13–3, in the AFC Championship Game. The Titans eventually erased a 14–10 halftime deficit to win 33–14. The Titans then lost to the History of the St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV. 2020 NFL Season
The 2020 NFL season was the 101st season of the National Football League (NFL). The regular season started with the NFL Kickoff Game on September 10, in which defending Super Bowl LIV champion Kansas City defeated Houston. The playoffs were expanded from 12 to 14 teams, adding a third wild-card spot per conference. The season concluded with Tampa Bay defeating Kansas City 31–9 in Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on February 7, 2021.
