Jade Bornea
Jade Dajay Bornea (born 2 August 1995) is a Filipino professional boxer who has held the WBC- NABF super-flyweight title since January. As an amateur he represented the Philippines at the Youth World Championships, reaching the semi-finals of the light-flyweight bracket. Personal life Bornea was born in Cotabato del Norte, but grew up in General Santos. Super flyweight, also referred to as junior bantamweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . History The first title match in this division was in 1980, when the World Boxing Council responded to pressure from Asian and Latin American members who felt the difference between the flyweight limit and the bantamweight limit was too significant. The Minneapolis Armory is a historic event center and former National Guard armory located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Built by the Public Works Administration in 1936, the building was occupied by several Army and Naval Militia units of the Minnesota National Guard from its opening until 1985.
