Peumerit (; ), formerly Peumérit, is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France. Population Inhabitants of Peumerit are called ''Peumeritois'' in French. History Modern period This municipality is known for events related to the revolt of the "bonnets rouges," translated as the red caps, in 1675.
