Jacob Misiorowski
Jacob Walter Misiorowski () born April 3, 2002) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2025. Amateur career Misiorowski grew up in Grain Valley, Missouri and attended Grain Valley High School. As a junior in 2019, he posted a 9–2 win-loss record with a 1.48 earned run average (ERA) and was named All-State. Misiorowski participated in a bullpen session that December, where he showcased a quality curveball with scouts from the Milwaukee Brewers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Colorado Rockies in attendance. Misiorowski's senior season in 2020 was canceled due to COVID-19. His chances of being drafted that year were significantly lowered by MLB's decision to shorten the 2020 draft to five rounds, and Misiorowski's determination to play college baseball after missing that senior year. In baseball statistics, earned run average (ERA) is the average of earned runs allowed by a pitcher per nine innings pitched (i.e. the traditional length of a game). 2020 MLB Draft
The 2020 Major League Baseball draft took place on June 10 and 11, 2020. The draft assigned amateur baseball players to Major League Baseball (MLB) teams. The draft order was set based on the reverse order of the 2019 MLB season standings.
