Jaclyn Katrina Demis Sawicki (born November 14, 1992) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for Western United in the A-League Women, which she captains. Born in Canada, she represents the Philippines women's national team. Early life Born and raised in Coquitlam, Canada – Sawicki started playing the sport when she was 7 years old. Career Youth Sawicki had her youth career in Coquitlam Metro-Ford and Vancouver Whitecaps. College Sawicki has played collegiate soccer at University of Victoria. Elfen Saitama In 2017, Sawicki signed her first professional contract for Nadeshiko Division 1 League club Chifure AS Elfen Saitama. The 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup was the 6th edition of the tournament. The tournament was played in Japan from 19 August to 8 September, with sixteen national football soccer teams and mark the first hosting of a FIFA women's football tournament in the country. The host nation were to be decided on 19 March 2010 but was postponed by FIFA to give bidders more time to prepare their bids. On 3 March 2011 FIFA initially awarded the World Cup to Uzbekistan. However, on 18 December 2011 FIFA had the tournament stripped from this country for problems with the bid and named Japan as a possible host. The 2012 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship was the sixth edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. The final tournament was hosted by Panama from 1 to 11 March 2012. All matches were played at the Estadio Rommel Fernández. The top three teams of the 2012 tournament earned qualification to the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. A-League Women (known as the Liberty A-League for sponsorship reasons), formerly the W-League, is the top-division women's soccer league in Australia.
