Jackson Stormo
Jackson Stormo (born November 16, 1999) is an American professional basketball player who last player for Kortrijk Spurs of the BNXT League. A 6' 9" power forward and center, Stormo played college basketball for Pepperdine University and Siena College. He also played for Imortal Basket Club in Portugal. Early life Stormo was born in Santa Barbara, California, to Owen and Alexia Stormo. His father competed in football, soccer, and track at California Lutheran University, and his mother played basketball at Fresno State. He has three older siblings, Jason, Brian, and Janell. He is , and weighs . High school Stormo attended San Marcos High School. He played basketball and as a junior, he earned All-Channel League honors. In 2018 as a senior, he averaged 17.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, and 2.3 assists a game. The power forward (PF), also known as the four, is one of the five traditional Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. Traditionally, power forwards have played a role similar to center (basketball), centers and are typically the tallest or second tallest player on the court. The Pepperdine Waves men's basketball team is an American college basketball team that represents Pepperdine University in NCAA Division I, the highest level of intercollegiate athletics sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Waves compete in the West Coast Conference and are coached by Ed Schilling. The Waves have competed in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament 13 times and are 3rd all-time in WCC Tournament wins and championships. The Waves most recently appeared in the NCAA tournament in 2002. Thirty-eight former Waves have been drafted or played in the NBA including Doug Christie and Dennis Johnson, an inductee of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
