Jackson Longridge
Jackson Longridge (born 12 April 1995) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for club Hamilton Academical. Longridge previously played for Bradford City, Torquay United, Ayr United, Stranraer, Livingston and Dunfermline Athletic. Career Longridge made his debut for Ayr United in a First Division match against Dundee, that Ayr won 3–2, winning the 'Man of the Match' award. In the play-off semi-final match, against Airdrie United on 12 May 2012, he was sent off by referee Steven McLean for an over the ball challenge on Ricki Lamie. On 18 June 2014, he signed for Stranraer. Longridge scored his first senior goal in a 4–2 victory over Forfar Athletic on 10 January 2015. Longridge signed for Livingston in June 2015. Steven McLean (referee)
Steven McLean (born 1 April 1981) is a Scottish football referee. He became a FIFA referee in 2010 and was selected to officiate at the 2011 UEFA U17 European Championship. Career In October 2011 McLean was in charge of a 2013 European Under-21 qualifier involving Spain and Croatia. In January 2012 McLean was the referee for a Scottish League Cup semi-final - an Ayrshire derby between Kilmarnock and Ayr United, won by the former who went on to lift the trophy. In March 2014 McLean refereed his first major national final, the 2014 Scottish League Cup Final between Aberdeen and Inverness Caledonian Thistle which Aberdeen won in a penalty shoot-out. However at the end of the league season he angered Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes by failing to award a foul in the last minute of their match with Motherwell, permitting Motherwell to score the winning goal and thereby overtake Aberdeen in the standings. The Scottish League One, known as William Hill (bookmaker), William Hill League One for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional association football, football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League One was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. The Scottish Football League Second Division was the third tier of the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The Second Division was created in 1975, as part of a wider reconstruction of the Scottish Football League (SFL). Prior to 1975, the SFL had been split into two divisions (Division One and Division Two).
