Jackson Hawes
Jackson Hawes (born December 6, 2000) is an American professional football tight end for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Yale Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Hawes was selected by the Bills in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft. Early life and high school Hawes attended Highland High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rated as a three-star recruit, he committed to play college football for the Yale Bulldogs. College career Yale In five seasons at Yale from 2019 through 2023, Hawes appeared in 29 games, where he hauled in 35 receptions for 371 yards and six touchdowns. He was named second team all-Ivy League twice, in 2022 and 2023. After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Hawes decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. The tight end (TE) is an offense (sports), offensive position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football. It is a hybrid that combines the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a receiver (football), receiver.
