Jack Ryder (actor)
Jack Siegfried Ryder (born 21 September 1981) is an England, English actor, best known for playing Jamie Mitchell in the BBC One soap opera ''EastEnders'' from 1998 to 2002. Early life Ryder was born in Woolwich, London, in 1981. His father is Jack Hues (real name Jeremy Allan Ryder), the founder of 1980s new wave music, New Wave band Wang Chung (band), Wang Chung. Career Upon leaving ''EastEnders'' in 2002, Ryder performed as Justin Timberlake on ''Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes'' (which he won), appeared in the pantomime ''Sleeping Beauty'' at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury and was cast in a recurring role on Five (channel), Five's ''Family Affairs'' which he pulled out of when he learned that the series was soon to be axed. "Sleeping Beauty" (, or ''The Beauty Sleeping in the Wood''; , or ''Little Briar Rose''), also titled in English as ''The Sleeping Beauty in the Woods'', is a fairy tale about a princess curse, cursed by an evil fairy to suspended animation in fiction, sleep for a hundred years before being awakened by a handsome prince. Tim Firth
Tim Firth (born 13 October 1964) is an English dramatist, screenwriter and songwriter. Life and career Firth was born in Frodsham, England. He spent much of his time at school writing songs and it was only a few weeks before going to King's College, Cambridge to read English that he attended an Arvon Foundation course in West Yorkshire. This was run by Willy Russell and whilst on it, Firth had to write dialogue. He wrote about the only thing he knew - two sixteen-year-olds trying to write a song. Another course participant optioned it for his production company and Firth decided to become a writer. While at Cambridge he joined the Footlights where his contemporaries included fellow King's student David Baddiel who later invited him to contribute music to '' The Mary Whitehouse Experience'' on BBC radio. The Royal
''The Royal'' is a British period medical drama, produced by Yorkshire Television (later part of ITV Studios), and broadcast on ITV from 2003 until its cancellation in 2011. The Royal Today
''The Royal Today'' is a British medical drama, and a spin-off of the similarly themed drama, ''The Royal''. The concept is that whilst ''The Royal'' is set in the late 1960s, ''The Royal Today'' featured the same hospital in the present day, with a new set of characters working in the same location. Each episode followed the events of a single day, and the show was broadcast daily (except for the weekends), so the series could be said to progress in real time. The first series of 50 half-hour episodes began on 7 January 2008 on the ITV network airing from 4 pm-4.30 pm. The Homicide and Major Crime Command (SCO 1) is an Operational Command Unit of the Metropolitan Police responsible for the investigation of homicide and other serious crimes in London. ''Family Affairs'' is a British soap opera that aired on Channel 5. It debuted on 30 March 1997, the day of the launch of said channel and was the first programme broadcast on the channel. It was screened as five thirty-minute episodes per week at 6:30pm on weekdays, followed by an omnibus edition on Sundays. The series never achieved high ratings, so it went through a number of dramatic revamps involving wholesale cast turnover. The premise of the series was also refocused from a family in a quiet suburb just outside London, to a range of different people living on a bustling outer London street.
