Jack Oughton
John "Jack" Oughton (September 18, 1876 – after 1940) was a skilled stonemason in Lincoln County, Idaho. (incomplete, omits building-specific passages) A number of his works are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Oughton was born in Ireland and immigrated to the United States in 1886. At the time of the 1910 United States Census, he was living in Twin Falls, Idaho with Mary Oughton, age 16, and was employed as a mason. At the time of the 1920 United States Census he was living in Shoshone, Idaho with fellow stonemason and partner Alexander Reed. Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Idaho. As of the 2020 census, the population was 5,127. The county seat and largest city is Shoshone. The county is named after President Abraham Lincoln. The Idaho Territory was created in 1863, during the Lincoln Administration of 1861–65. Lincoln County is included in the Hailey, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area. Lincoln County was created by the Idaho Legislature on March 18, 1895, by a partitioning of Blaine County, which was created earlier that month by a merger of Alturas and Logan Counties. Bill Darrah
William Lindsey Darrah (April 7, 1876 - after 1920) was a sheep rancher and stonemason in Shoshone, Idaho known for his construction of lava rock water tanks from the 1910s to 1920s. He built water tanks ranging from approximately eight to 30 feet high and from 12 to 25 feet in diameter. His tanks were typically built with a stone foundation several feet into the ground. The walls were approximately three feet wide and built out of lava stones and lime mortar. Ignacio Ygnatil Berriochoa (July 31, 1865 - May 17, 1949) was a skilled stonemason in Lincoln County, Idaho.
