Jacques Joseph O'Mahoney (February 7, 1919 – December 14, 1989), known professionally as Jock Mahoney, was an American actor and stuntman. He starred in two Action/Adventure television series, ''The Range Rider'' and '' Yancy Derringer''. He played Tarzan in two feature films and was associated in various capacities with several other Tarzan productions. He was credited variously as Jacques O'Mahoney, Jock O'Mahoney, Jack Mahoney, and finally Jock Mahoney. Early life, education, and military service Mahoney was born in Chicago, Illinois and reared in Davenport, Iowa. He was of French and Irish descent, the only child of Ruth and Charles O'Mahoney. Jack Mahony (born 12 November 2001) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Gold Coast Suns in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by with the 34th pick in the 2019 AFL draft. Early football Mahony played football for the Sandringham Dragons in the NAB League for two seasons. He also played for Vic Metro in the AFL Under 18 Championships for two seasons, as well as for his school side at St Kevin's College, Melbourne. AFL career Mahony debuted in North Melbourne's four point loss against the Hawthorn Hawks in the fourth round of the 2020 AFL season. He collected 8 disposals and one tackle on debut. The 2019 AFL draft consists of the various periods where the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL) can trade and recruit players following the completion of the 2019 AFL season. Key dates Mid-season rookie draft The first mid-season draft since 1993 was held after Round 10 of the 2019 AFL season on 27 May. The draft was only open to clubs with inactive players on their list and vacancies available, such as long term injuries or retirements. Players recruited during the mid-season draft earned a contract for the remainder of the season, though had the option of negotiating terms for an extension at any period throughout the season.
