Jack Lohman
Jack Lohman (born 23 May 1958) CBE, born Jacek Lohman, is an internationally recognised leader in the development of museums and cultural policy. He has worked with governments in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America on issues of cultural diplomacy, repatriation and human remain in museums. He has received numerous awards including the Bene Merito from the Government of Poland and CBE from HM the Queen. Jack Lohman was the chief executive of the Royal British Columbia Museum Canada until he resigned in February 2021 during an investigation into the museum repatriation and reconciliation efforts. He was President of the Canadian Museum Association, is a member of the Board of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute and the City of Warsaw Museum. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding valuable service in a wide range of useful activities. It comprises five classes of awards across both civil and military divisions, the most senior two of which make the recipient either a Orders, decorations, and medals of the United Kingdom#Modern honours, knight if male or a dame (title), dame if female. Iziko South African National Gallery
The Iziko South African National Gallery is the national art gallery of South Africa located in Cape Town. It became part of the Iziko collection of museums – as managed by the Department of Arts and Culture – in 2001. It then became an agency of the Department of Arts and Culture.
