Jack Fortner
Jack Fortner is an American politician who has served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives since 2017. He represents Arkansas' 3rd House district. Electoral history Fortner was first elected to the house in 2016 to the 99th district. He was reelected in 2018 and 2020. He was elected on November 8, 2022, in the 2022 Arkansas House of Representatives election to the 4th district. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. He announced he would not seek a fifth term in July 2023. Fortner's only political accomplishment is extending the state's antique vehicle registration system. Fortner introduced H.B. 1547 extending the requirements to vehicles 45 yrs and older rather than 25 yrs in the Arkansas state legislature in 2017,even as other states were lowering their respective requirements. Lane Jean
Samuel Lane Jean (born November 10, 1958) is a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives for District 2, which includes parts of Lafayette, Miller, and Columbia counties. He has held this seat since January 2013. Jean served as mayor of Magnolia, Arkansas between 1995 and 2010. Early life and education Jean was born in Magnolia, Arkansas on November 10, 1958. He has a brother, Hal. Jean graduated from Magnolia High School and attended Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. In 1984, he received a BA in History from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia. Jean's mother Katheryn (1929-2007), a native of Birmingham, Alabama, was president of the Reeves Land and Timber Company in Magnolia and active in Columbia County's Republican Party.
