Uriah John Barrett (April quarter 1874 – January quarter 1934) was an Amateur sports#Association football, amateur association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Southampton F.C., Southampton St. Mary's in the mid-1890s. Football career Barrett was born in Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, and moved to Southampton, where he trained as a shoemaker. He had played local parks football before joining Southampton St. Mary's F.C., Southampton St. Mary's in March 1894, taking over from Ralph Ruffell who had been the "Saints" first-choice goalkeeper since the club was founded in 1885. Jack Joseph Barrett (born 4 June 2002) is an English football player who plays as a goalkeeper for club Blackburn Rovers. Early life Barrett joined the Everton Academy at age nine. He signed multiple extensions with the club, while progressing through the youth system. He made his debut with the U21 squad in the Premier League 2 during the 2021–22 season. Club career In February 2024, Everton sent Barrett on loan to Canadian Premier League squad Cavalry FC. He made his professional debut on 11 May 2024 against the HFX Wanderers. John Barrett (1 January 1911 – 16 February 1979) was an Irish hurler, selector and administrator. His career included All-Ireland Championship victories as a player and later as a selector with the Cork senior hurling team. Playing career Kinsale Barrett first played for the Kinsale club at adult level in the late 1920s. He claimed his first major silverware with the club in 1930 when Kinsale defeated Tracton by 6-04 to 3-03 to secure the South East Junior Championship. After surrendering the title to Passage the following year, Barrett won a second divisional championship winners' medal in 1933 after a 5-04 to 1-02 victory over Rochestown. He subsequently claimed a County Junior Championship title after lining out in the 5-04 to 0-01 defeat of Skibbereen. Barrett also lined out with divisional side Carrigdhoun in the County Senior Championship. Cork Barrett first played for Cork when he was drafted onto the junior team during the 1932 Munster Junior Championship. ...

John Edward Barrett (15 October 1866 – 6 February 1916) was an Australian cricketer who played two Tests in 1890. He played first-class cricket for Victoria from 1884–85 to 1892–93 before retiring from cricket to concentrate on his work as a medical doctor. Life and career Barrett was born in South Melbourne and educated nearby at Wesley College before going on to Melbourne University to study medicine. His father was a doctor in South Melbourne, and his older brother was also a doctor. A careful batsman, reliable in a crisis, Jack Barrett played first-class cricket for Victoria from 1885 to 1893.
