Jabučki Rit
Jabučki Rit (Serbian Cyrillic: Јабучки Рит) is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in the Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. Location Jabučki Rit is located in the northern, Banat section of the municipality, 23 kilometers northeast of downtown Belgrade. The settlement is built in the central part of the marsh of Pančevački Rit, on the ''Butuš'' canal. The settlement is outside of any major roads, being connected by the 10 kilometer long road (through Glogonjski Rit) to the ''Zrenjaninski put'' road which connects Belgrade with the town of Zrenjanin in Vojvodina. Small Romani settlement is located in Jabučki Rit. Characteristics The settlement is not classified as a separate one but, like the nearby Glogonjski Rit, as a sub-settlement of the 13 kilometers away Padinska Skela to the west, even though the three settlements make no continuous built-up area. The administrative districts () of Serbia are the country's first-level administrative divisions of Serbia, administrative division. The term ''okrug'' (pl. Glogonjski Rit (Serbian Cyrillic: Глогоњски рит) is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in the Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. Dunavski Venac ( sr-cyr, Дунавски венац) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Palilula, geographically located in Banat. Location & neighborhood Dunavski Venac is located north of the Kotež and Krnjača's Blok Sutjeska neighborhoods. On the west it borders the ''Mokri Sebeš'' canal while on the east and north it stretched along the ''Zrenjanski put'' road which connects Belgrade and Zrenjanin. Great White Egret
The great egret (''Ardea alba''), also known as the common egret, large egret, great white egret, or great white heron, is a large, widely distributed egret. The four subspecies are found in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and southern Europe. Recently, it has also been spreading to more northern areas of Europe. Distributed across most of the tropical and warmer temperate regions of the world, it builds tree nests in colonies close to water. Opovo (; ) is a town and municipality located in the South Banat District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The town has a population of 4,147, while Opovo municipality has 9,462 inhabitants (2022 census). Padinska Skela ( sr-Cyrl, Падинска Скела), or colloquially Padinjak (), is a suburban settlement of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in the Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. Zrenjanin
Zrenjanin ( sr-Cyrl, Зрењанин, ; ; ; ; ) is a List of cities in Serbia, city and the administrative center of the Central Banat District in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The city urban area has a population of 67,129 inhabitants, while the city administrative area has 105,722 inhabitants (2022 census data). Pančevački Rit
Pančevački Rit ( sr-cyr, Панчевачки рит) is a small geographical area in south-western Banat, Serbia. It is situated between the rivers Danube and Tamiš, in Belgrade's municipality of Palilula. Features Its wetland was constantly flooded, but since World War II it has been gradually drained and almost half of it has been turned into a very fertile patch of land, suitable especially for cultivating grains and vegetables. It is managed by Serbia's largest agricultural company " PKB Beograd", which almost exclusively provides food for 2 million people in the greater Belgrade area; thus Pančevački Rit is commonly nicknamed Granary of Belgrade.
