Jabriya
Jabriya () is in an area in Hawalli Governorate in Kuwait. It is a large, mainly residential area that borders Surra, Hawalli, Salmiya and Bayan. On 31 December 2007, Jabriya's population was estimated to be 66,056. Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital, one of the six public hospitals in Kuwait, was built there in 1982. Other organisations within the area include the Kuwait Medical Association (KMA) and the Kuwait Central Blood Bank. Jabriya is located in the Third Electoral constituency. Jabriya is divided into twelve blocks with two blocks, 1 and 3, sectioned into A and B parts. Jabriya contains more than ten schools, a large number for its size, including New English School, The English Academy, Bayan Bilingual School and Fajr Al Sabah. Jabriya has many foreign workers. Tareq Rajab Museum
The Tareq Rajab Museum (Arabic: متحف طارق رجب) is located in Kuwait and houses an extensive collection of artefacts accumulated over a fifty-year period commencing in the 1950s. The Museum is housed at two separate locations in Jabriya, Kuwait: the Tareq Rajab Museum, which was founded in 1980, and the Tareq Rajab Museum of Islamic Calligraphy in 2007. The Tareq Rajab Museum includes collections of manuscripts and miniatures, ceramics, metalwork, glass, arms and armour as well as textiles, costumes and jewellery. Areas Of Kuwait
Kuwait is divided into Governorates of Kuwait, six governorates, and in each there are several areas (). They are much less commonly called by other names such as districts or towns. However, they are commonly known inside the English-speaking community in Kuwait and are officially translated to as ''areas''. The Arabic word for area, Mintaqah, means both ''area'' and ''region''. Areas are further sub-divided into blocks, each of which is referred by a number. All blocks are divided into streets () . Then some areas may be further sub-divided into () , which is translated to avenue or lane. Each area in Kuwait has an official governmental facility called a co-op society or just society (). Surra is a residential area located in the Capital Governorate in Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is located west of Jabriya and east of Qurtuba.
