Nabeel T. Jabbour is an author, lecturer, and expert on Muslim culture. Jabbour's background includes two perspectives—that of the Arab/ Muslim world and of the Western/Christian world. He frequently speaks at churches and teaches at seminaries, interpreting the phenomenon of Islamic Fundamentalism and other Middle Eastern issues to Westerners and especially to Christians. Academic career Jabbour taught high school for two years in Tripoli, Lebanon, then taught Psychology and Cultural Studies (History of Civilizations) for two years at Haigazian University in Beirut. Alan Jabbour
Alan Jabbour (June 21, 1942 – January 13, 2017) was an American musician and folklorist, and the founding director of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. Life and career Jabbour was born in Jacksonville, Florida. His grandfather had immigrated to the United States from Syria, and his father later joined him. He was educated in the Jacksonville public schools and at the Bolles School, where he graduated from high school in 1959. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami in 1963 and received his M.A. (1966) and Ph.D. (1968) from Duke University. A violinist from the age of seven, Alan Jabbour was a member of the Jacksonville Symphony, the Brevard Music Festival Orchestra, the Miami Symphony, and the University of Miami String Quartet. Brahim Jabbour
Brahim Jabbour (born 2 October 1970) is a retired Moroccan long-distance runner. He specialized in the 5000 metres. Jabbour finished sixth in the 5000 metres at the 1993 World Championships, won the bronze medal at the 1994 Jeux de la Francophonie, and the bronze medal in 3000 metres at the 1995 World Indoor Championships. At the ''Jeux de la Francophonie'', Jabbour finished behind countryfellows Salah Hissou and Brahim Lahlafi; this was one of three all-Moroccan podiums in this event at the Jeux de la Francophonie (the other being 1989: Saïd Aouita, Khalid Skah, Mohamed Issangar and 2001: Mohamed Amine, Abderrahim Goumri, Mohamed Saïd El Wardi). Jabbour benefited from the breadth in Moroccan running at the 1998 World Cross Country Championships, when he finished fifteenth in the short race and won a silver medal in the team competition. Gabriel Jabbour (Arabic: غبريال جبّور) (7 November 1922 - 20 September 1987) was a French actor. He made his debut in acting in 1957 in L'affaire Sarret-Schmidt on television. Between then and 1987 he made almost 70 appearances in film and TV with his career at its peak in the 1970s. In 1981 Jabbour appeared in the thriller series Affaire Labricole, L.
