Jaat (film)
''Jaat'' is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Gopichand Malineni (in his Hindi film debut), and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory. The film stars Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda and Regina Cassandra in lead roles alongside Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P. Ravi Shankar and Babloo Prithiveeraj. The film follows a mysterious passenger whose obsessive demand for an apology brings him face-to-face with a ruthless labourer-turned-crime boss, resulting in a battle between the two. Principal photography commenced in June 2024 and was extensively filmed across Hyderabad, Bapatla and Visakhapatnam. The film's music was composed by S. Gopichand Malineni
Gopichand Malineni (born 13 March 1980) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. After working as an assistant director in many films, Malineni made his directional debut in 2010 with the action comedy film '' Don Seenu''. He went on to direct films such as ''Bodyguard'', '' Balupu'', '' Pandaga Chesko'', '' Winner'' and '' Krack''. Early life Gopichand Malineni was born and brought up in Boddulurivaripalem village near Ongole of Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh. His family hails from the same village. His primary education was done at Sarada Niketan School Prakasam District and upper primary at VR College in Nellore. Ramya Krishnan (born 15 September 1970), also credited as Ramya Krishna, is an Indian actress predominantly known for her work in Telugu and Tamil films, along with appearances in Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi films. Bapatla district is a district in coastal Andhra in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh (AP) established on 4 April 2022. The administrative headquarters are in Bapatla.
