Jaap Davids (born 1 December 1984 in Bergharen, Gelderland) is a Dutch footballer. Club career His first club was Vitesse in the 2003–04 and 2004–05 season, but made no appearances for the club. He was loaned out to FC Den Bosch in 2005, where he made 34 appearances and 5 goals. The next season Davids was loaned out to AGOVV Apeldoorn making three appearances and where he was suspended for a few months due to ill-discipline. He was finally released by Vitesse and joined amateur side De Treffers De Treffers is an amateur football club from Groesbeek, Netherlands. Bergharen
Bergharen is a village in the Netherlands, in the municipality of Wijchen. It was a separate municipality until 1984. There is a windmill, De Verrekijker, Bergharen, De Verrekijker, which has been converted to a holiday cottage. The village was first mentioned in the 12th century as Haren, and means "hill on a sandy ridge". The tower of the Dutch Reformed Church dates from the 14th century and has 12th century elements. The nave was built between 1475 and 1525. The original choir was demolished and replaced in 1826. The Catholic St Anna Church was constructed in 1893. In 1840, it was home to 734 people. Eerste Divisie
The Eerste Divisie (; ) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship reasons, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away.
