Jaani Peuhu
Jaani Peuhu (born 17 August 1978) is a Finnish musician, producer and songwriter. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the Finnish band Iconcrash and currently working with his debut solo album. He currently resides in Helsinki. Background Peuhu was born in Anjalankoski to a jazz musician father, Kari Peuhu, and a photographer mother, Heli Ahoniitty. At the age of seven, he began his musical career when he started playing the piano; one year later he learned to play the drums. At the age of 13 he formed his first band Chaoslord. He played his first show in Ruovesi one year later at the age of 14. Peuhu has played drums in several bands including Scarlet Youth, Varjo, Deadbabes, Myyt, Mary-Ann, Billy-Goats, Jalankulkuämpäri, Kinetic and Vuk. Jaani started his solo career in 2004, when he created his first record as a singer/songwriter under the name Iconcrash. Anjalankoski
Anjalankoski is a former town and municipality of Finland. It had 16 379 inhabitants in 2008. About 4/5 of the people live in the vicinity of the Kymi River. The most densely populated communities are Myllykoski and Inkeroinen. In addition, there is plenty of countryside. The town's major industry is forestry along the Kymi Riverside. The paper factories Stora Enso Oyj and Myllykoski Paper Oy are the main employers together with the town itself. Iconcrash
Iconcrash is a Finnish electrorock/darkwave band from Helsinki, formed by vocalist/composer Jaani Peuhu. Now the band members include Arttu Juntunen, keyboard and backing vocals, Riku-Niilo Mattila bass, Matti Toivonen, guitar and Oskari Vilmunen, drums. The English-Finnish record company Parole Records published their debut album Nude in spring 2005, after which the live band was assembled. Their second album Enochian Devices was published in spring 2010 with the collaboration of Dynasty Recordings and EMI Finland. The album was recorded at Dynasty Studios and at Sonic Pump and the production lasted over a year. The album was received well and the singles Strange, Strange Dark Star and Everlasting got plenty of radio play and reached the top of YleX:s most wanted list. Swallow The Sun
Swallow the Sun is a Finnish death-doom band founded in 2000 by Juha Raivio. Their death-doom style emphasizes melody and atmosphere, and occasionally steps into gothic and black metal territory. Kwan (band)
Kwan is a hip hop/pop music group from Helsinki, Finland. Most visible members of the band are the two vocalists Mariko (Mari Liisa Pajalahti) and Tidjan (Ossi Bah Tidiane).
