Shyamal Mitra (14 January 1929 – 15 November 1987) was an Indian versatile playback singer and music director along with Hemanta Mukherjee and Manna Dey. Kamal Mitra was an Indian actor who appeared in more than 335 films spanning more than four decades. Along with Chhabi Biswas and Pahari Sanyal he dominated the Bengali silver screen as a character actor. Mitra played a number of prominent roles in mythological and social movies. Shekhar Chatterjee (1924–1990) was an Indian actor and film director. Career Chatterjee was born in Kolkata in 1924. He began his career in the Bengali theatre in the 1950s.
