JP Bugaoan
John Paul Bugaoan born (January 8, 1999) is a Filipino volleyball player. He played with FEU Tamaraws collegiate men's University team. He is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf. Career Bugaoan was a member of the FEU Tamaraws men's varsity team. In 2018, he played for the Vice Co. Blockbusters in the PVL where they finished bronze. In 2019, he was signed by the Cignal HD Spikers. In 2022, he became a part of the Philippines men's national volleyball team that played in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam. Clubs * Vice Co. Blockbusters The Vice Co. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. Basic play The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. 2018 PVL Collegiate Conference
The 2018 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference was the 5th conference of the Premier Volleyball League (32nd conference of the former Shakey's V-League conference results, Shakey's V-League). Conference started on July 21, 2018 and ended on September 12, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan, Metro Manila, San Juan, Metro Manila. This was the last conference in which the PVL held a men's division, as beginning with the 2018 Open Conference, the division would be held under the relaunched Spikers' Turf. 2018 Spikers' Turf Open Conference
The 2018 Spikers’ Turf Open Conference is the revival conference of the Spikers' Turf. After the 2016 season of the Spikers' Turf, its affiliate league, the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), assumed the tournaments of the Spikers' Turf under its men's division until the collegiate conference of year 2018. The tournament began on October 6, 2018 at the Blue Eagle Gym, Ateneo de Manila University campus, Quezon City, Philippines. UAAP Season 80
UAAP Season 80 was the 2017–18 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season was hosted by the Far Eastern University. The eight member universities of the UAAP competed in the league's 28 events from 15 sports to vie for the overall championship. This season's sports events included the inaugural 3-on-3 basketball as a demonstration sport held at FEU Manila. The 2025 Spikers' Turf Open Conference was the twentieth conference and the opening of the eighth season of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament began on February 21 and ended on April 6, 2025. Six teams will battle for the championship, one of which is a debutant team — the Alpha Insurance Protectors. 2023 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference
The 2023 Spikers' Turf Invitational Conference was the seventeenth conference and the end of the 2023 Spikers' Turf season, sixth season of the Spikers' Turf. The tournament began from October 20 to December 15, 2023, at the Paco Arena, Paco, Manila. This was the inaugural Invitational conference of the league, with a format similar to the Premier Volleyball League. This is the first conference where a foreign club, Maruichi Hyogo of Japan, participated in the league. The Sta. Elena Ball Hammers, Sta. Elena-NU Nationals beat the Cignal HD Spikers (men's team), Cignal HD Spikers in a thrilling 5-setter knockout match in the finals, the first of its kind in the history of the league. The visiting Maruichi Hyogo then bagged the bronze medal after defeating Letran Knights, Saints and Lattes-Letran in another five-set match.
