J. Ronald Eastman
Dr. J. Ronald Eastman is a Professor of Geography at Clark University and the author and chief developer of IDRISI GIS Software. At Clark he teaches the class Advanced Topics in GIS. In 2003, Eastman received the Ronald F. Abler Distinguished Service Honors from the Association of American Geographers (AAG). Clark University
Clark University is a private research university in Worcester, Massachusetts. Founded in 1887 with a large endowment from its namesake Jonas Gilman Clark, a prominent businessman, Clark was one of the first modern research universities in the United States. Originally an all-graduate institution, Clark's first undergraduates entered in 1902 and women were first enrolled in 1942. The American Association of Geographers (AAG) is a non-profit scientific and educational society aimed at advancing the understanding, study, and importance of geography and related fields. Its headquarters is located in Washington, D.C. A note is a string of text placed at the bottom of a page in a book or document or at the end of a chapter, volume, or the whole text.
