J. P. Primm
J. P. Primm (born September 17, 1989) is an American basketball player, having previously played for the men's basketball teams of the UNC Asheville Bulldogs. Primm, at , plays the position of point guard and shooting guard. Career In September 2012 Primm went on tryout with BC Kyiv, after he was waived by JSF Nanterre. On September 25, Kyiv decided to keep Primm. He was fired after 9 games, in which he averaged 3.1 points per game. In the summer of 2013, he played for the Titanes del Ley in the Dominican Republic. In February 2014, he signed with the Dutch team Den Helder Kings BV Den Helder was a professional basketball club from Den Helder, Netherlands. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. They must also be able to adapt to what the defense is allowing and must control the pace of the game. A point guard specializes in certain skills, like other player positions in basketball.
