J.P. Bimeni
J.P. Bimeni a.k.a. Mudibu (né Jean Patrick Bimenyimana Serukamba; born December, 1976) is a Burundian-British singer, songwriter, and musician. Early life J.P. Bimeni was born in December 1976, in Burundian capital Bujumbura. His father was in the military and his mother was a descendant of the royal family. Bimeni was raised by his mother, alongside his three brothers. Bimeni was sent to convent school in the countryside. At the start of the Burundian civil war, in October 1993, he was 16 and survived a massacre at his school. Soon after he was shot in the chest and at the hospital was given medication that caused a dangerous reaction resulting in him losing half of his body weight. Bujumbura
Bujumbura (; ), formerly Usumbura, is the economic capital, largest city and main port of Burundi. It ships most of the country's chief export, coffee, as well as cotton and tin ore. Bujumbura was formerly the country's political capital. James Hart Stern (June 13, 1964 – October 11, 2019) was an African American Baptist minister, civil rights activist, speaker, and author from Los Angeles, California. He was best known for his work defusing gang violence through a series of summits in the 1980s and 1990s and for his incarceration with Edgar Ray Killen, the former KKK leader who was convicted of the 1964 Mississippi Burning murders. In music, groove is the sense of an effect ("feel") of changing pattern in a propulsive rhythm or sense of "Swing (jazz performance style), swing". Stax Records is an American record company, originally based in Memphis, Tennessee. Founded in 1957 as Satellite Records, the label changed its name to Stax Records in September 1961. Funk is a music genre that originated in African-American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of various music genres that were popular among African-Americans in the mid-20th century.
