J-Walk is a network of elevated walkways and at-grade sheltered walkways that connects various transportation nodes and commercial developments in Jurong East, Singapore. J-Walk mainly starts from Jurong East MRT, with connections to Jem, Westgate, Perennial Business City, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Devan Nair Institute, and IMM in the west. Skyway
A skyway, skybridge, skywalk, or sky walkway is an elevated type of pedway connecting two or more buildings in an urban area, or connecting elevated points within mountainous recreational zones. Urban skyways very often take the form of Covered bridge, enclosed or covered footbridges that protect pedestrians from the weather. Open-top modern skyways in mountains now often have glass bottoms. Jurong East is a Planning Areas of Singapore, planning area and New towns of Singapore, residential town situated in the West Region, Singapore, West Region of Singapore.
