The J-Cup Tournament is an annual tournament held by Women Superstars Uncensored, in which the winner earns of shot at the WSU Championship. 2008 The tournament was held on March 22, 2008. 2009 The 2009 tournament took place on April 10, 2009 in Bergenfield, New Jersey. 2010 National Wrestling Superstars teamed up with its sister all-ladies promotion Women Superstars Uncensored on April 2 for the 2010 Jersey J-Cup Women’s Tournament in Neptune, New Jersey. 2011 The 2011 J-Cup Tournament was held on April 2, 2011. In the final the former WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage defeat the current Spirit Champion Sassy Stephie, to earn a shot at WSU Champion Mercedes Martinez. Women Superstars United (WSU; formerly ''Women Superstars Uncensored'') is an American, New Jersey based women's professional wrestling promotion which held its first event in 2006. Shows combine wrestling interspersed with both serious and comedic storylines. The company tapes two DVDs worth of material during weekend shows. Although many of the shows are promoted solely by WSU, they have also worked with National Wrestling Superstars. As of October 2009, the promotion has a working agreement with Dragon Gate USA. WSU is considered one of the top women's wrestling organizations in the United States. The Super J-Cup is a periodically held professional wrestling tournament featuring junior heavyweight wrestlers from all over the world promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). This tournament differs from NJPW's annual Best of the Super Juniors tournament in that it is single elimination, while Best of the Super Juniors has a round robin format. Jersey J-Cup
The Jersey J Cup, also known as the Chris Candido Memorial J-Cup Tournament, is an annual professional wrestling tournament held by Funkdafied Wrestling Federation (FwF), typically between April and June. Modeled after the Super J-Cup by New Japan Pro-Wrestling, it is the second-oldest tournament in United States after the East Coast Wrestling Association's Super 8 Tournament. The wrestlers in the tournament are typically junior heavyweight wrestlers from independent promotions all over North America. The tournament has been hosted by New Jersey-based Jersey Championship Wrestling (2000-2004), National Wrestling Superstars (2005-2012) and Funkdafied Wrestling Federation (2013- ).
