Izghe
Izge is a village in Gwoza Local Government Area, Borno State, Nigeria. A massacre by Boko Haram on 15 February 2014 left 106 residents of the village dead. A second raid occurred a few days later, in which the village was burned to the ground.Nigeria: Boko Haram attacks Izghe, Borno again.

Izghe Attack
The Izghe attack was a terrorist incident that occurred on February 15, 2014. Gunmen suspected of being members of Boko Haram entered the village of Izghe, Borno State in the early hours of the morning and murdered 105 men and 1 elderly woman. A few days later, a repeat massacre occurred in the same village. This was part of a wave of attacks by Boko Haram in February 2014; the Borno Massacre, Konduga massacre took place on the same date. A group of people went to a Christian farming village of Izghe in Borno state and killed up 106 people. The suspected gunmen were members of Boko Haram. Gwoza
Gwoza is a local government area of Borno State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Gwoza, a border town "about 135 kilometres South-East of Maiduguri." The postal code of the area is 610. The terrain is rocky and hilly. The Gwoza Hills, with heights of about 1300m above sea level provides scenery and is made up of the Mandara Mountains, which form a natural barrier between Nigeria and Cameroon, starting from Pulka. Boko Haram, officially known as Jama'at Ahl al-Sunna li al-Da'wa wa al-Jihad (), is a self-proclaimed jihadist militant group based in northeastern Nigeria and also active in Chad, Niger, northern Cameroon, and Mali.
