Izaic Yorks
Izaic Yorks (born April 17, 1994) is an American middle-distance and long-distance runner. Yorks won 1500 m at 2018 NACAC Championships. As a Washington Huskies, Izaic Yorks is an eight-time NCAA Division 1 All-American cross country and Track and field runner. Professional Izaic Yorks signed with Brooks in June 2016. The Men's race featured four Furman Elite athletes battling it out with Brooks Beasts' Izaic Yorks. Caleb Hoover would be the eventual victor in 7:52.07, dragging the next four men under the 8 minute barrier with him. Yorks placed 3rd at the 2017 Sir Walter Miler Men's Elite Mile in 3:58.57. Lakewood is a city in Pierce County, Washington, United States. The population was 63,612 at the 2020 census. History Lakewood was officially incorporated on February 28, 1996. Washington Huskies
The Washington Huskies are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Washington, located in Seattle. The school competes at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. Washington students, sports teams, and alumni are called Huskies. The husky was selected as the school mascot by the Associated Students of UW in 1922. It replaced the "Sun Dodger," an abstract reference to the local weather that was quickly dropped in favor of something more tangible. Sir Walter Miler
The Sir Walter Miler is an outdoor one mile race held annually at Meredith College in Raleigh North Carolina, typically the first Friday in August. The race is named after Sir Walter Raleigh. It is directed and promoted by Sir Walter Running, a Raleigh-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A hallmark of the race is the close proximity of fans to the track, as spectators gather on the infield and in the outer lanes of the track to watch the races.
